Adopting the green initiatives.

10 Feb 2009

We're going green and clean around the shop! What started as a small change several months back, initiated by our eco-friendly Marketing Officer, has now begun to be unwritten standards for iTritek. So how did we do it? Very easy, one step at a time...

Water Conservation

We install low-flow toilet (1.6 gallon). We check and repair leakage on a timely manner.

Energy Conservation

Conserve and reserve are the two words we say every day! All lights in our shops are lid by energy-efficient bulbs. The use of natural lightning, when possible, is a priority. We purchase energy-efficient equipments.

Waste Reduction and Recycling

We recyle old batteries, cans, cardboards, fluorescent bulbs and properly dispose non-repairable electronic components. When printing, we print in duplex mode and use recycled paper for our receipts, invoices and purchase orders. Our shippers shred old newspapers and use them as cushion, which reduce the amount of air bags and styrofoam peanuts in our packaging. When we don't have enough, we simply reuse the packaging materials that were sent to us from our partners. We use e-mail and scan to PDF instead of fax.

Spare the Air

Our team take public transportation for both business, when possible, and personal travel.

All these efforts not only help us to be environmentally responsible, but also reduce our operation cost, which translates into more affordable repairs and quality services for our customers.

Join us and select one of the above activities to implement in your home or at your business today.
